Updating Driver Software

Last edited

Make sure you have the lastest USB drivers from Diagnosys.  These are available for download at https://diagnosysllc.com/software/ . File is labeled 2018 signed Espion USB drivers.zip

Driver information and details are found in Control Panel's Device Manager. Open control panel then device manager. Sometimes, Device Manager is hidden in the System and Security, System folder.

Connect hardware via USB.

Unknown items are designated like yield signs. Look for yellow with black exclamation points!

Right click to open a drop down menu. Select Update Driver Software.

Select Browse my computer for driver software.

Check the location information.

If you right clicked on Espion E3 Module, then the location should read C:\(software name)\Espion USB Drivers. Click Browse to select the driver software location.

If you have a ColorDome and right clicked on a camera device such as OTG102 select Camera USB Drivers, then specify the type of camera driver. The camera driver type matches the name on the camera video converter (located at the back door of the red unit, or, inside the ColorDome Power Supply). Click browse to select the driver software location.

Navigate to find the C: drive and select the name of your software. Then select the appropriate driver software location.

Once selected, click OK.

The driver will install. You can close the pop out window.

Proceed to update drivers for each item listed with a yellow exclamation point.
